I’m a writer who nods to the delicious trope that says creatives dislike math. So, naturally, I’ve split this bio into three thirds.

1/3 the background

I was born and raised in the south of Brazil, but my work travels the world. At 18, I moved to the US for undergrad, then stuck around for 7 years. I lived in Chicago, Miami, and Elon (NC). Worked alongside creatives from all realms. Sharpened my craft, broadened my POV. All of which defines my tone of voice today. Bilingual, borderless, and totally cinematic.

2/3 the mad ad life

During my 8 years in advertising so far, I’ve crafted campaigns for big names like Nike, Samsung, Google, and more. I've written scripts, headlines, and Cannes-winning case studies. I’ve recorded voice-overs and even ended up on-screen as an extra once or twice. That awesome acting background actually comes in handy when pitching ideas to clients, especially since I often do it in two languages.

3/3 but it's the writing that makes me whole

Beyond the briefs, I write stories. I break the world around me down to details. I turn overheard bus-stop conversations into the climax of my next adventure. It's inherent, and it's my way of interpreting life. Of making magic out of the mundane. You can read some of that in the PROSE section of this site.

4/3 guess I messed up that equation (blame the trope)

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me feeding my creativity with fiction and fantasy books, RPG video games, horror movies, and a lot of chocolate. Don't believe me? Ask my cats.
